New Story!

Hey Jammers!
I'm starting a new story!
Here it goesssssssssssss.

"Eagle..." Raven's words came out as a whisper.
"Shh!" I imperatively told her. "You'll scare them all off!"
Raven and I had ventured out into a thicket deep in the Lost Temple of Zios, drawn there by an old myth. The myth claimed that at midnight, on December 1st, all the phantoms of Jamaa all gathered in the center of the Lost Temple of Zios, plotting their revenge against Mira. I hadn't wanted to go, but I couldn't leave Raven out there alone.
"Eagle!" Raven interrupted my thoughts. "I swear I just saw one!"
She stared back at me with wide, unblinking eyes.
I stared out at the broken pit, concentrating as hard as I could.
I saw a phantom hovering over the pit, waving its tentacles.
Within seconds, there were eight phantoms.
"Eagle..." Raven whispered, her voice raising.
"Raven, hush!" I hissed back.
A phantom glared at the bush we were crouched behind, a puzzled look on his face.
"They'll know we're back here, Raven! You need to whisper!"
"B-but-" Raven started, her voice a bit louder.
I cut her off, "Ra-VEN!" I tried to whisper.
The same phantom still was staring at the bush we were behind. A few of his friends had joined in.
"You'll be the one to attract them over here, Eagle!" Raven sneered.
"Mhmm, sure." I rolled my eyes. "Now stop it! They're noticing!" I snapped.
We kept bickering like this for a while.
About halfway through, I started to hear a high-pitched wail.
We froze, as if on cue.
"Just look at what you've done!" I scolded.
But Raven wasn't listening. She was staring straight ahead, not moving.
"E-eagle..." She murmured.
I angrily sighed, turning my head to the direction hers was in.
I suddenly froze, taken aback by what I saw.
There now was an army of phantoms, staring me dead in the eye.
Suddenly, they charged.
